Freidapraises Kareena
Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto is going gaga over Bollywood actress KareenaKapoor for being so successful in a male-dominated film industry. Kareenahas reportedly been paid Rs8 crore for MadhurBhandarkar’s Heroine, making it the highest figure paid to a leading lady in the history of Hindi cinema. In addition, Kareena has also starred in four films that have fetched more than Rs100 crore at the box-office. Freida was quoted as saying, “In India, there has been a large disparity in how much a female and male actor gets paid, but this year, one actress changed all that.”
