BEST DRESSED

Kajol

HB : Mum’s the word and it’s great to see Kajol’s on her way to getting back in shape. Looking completely toned, this lovely salwar just adds to the elegance the actress has always been known for. We like the muted colours and the slightly ornate stilettoes add to the style. Also, a good decision to go with the danglers and not an overdone choker. It would have been a tad too much.

Sumi Says : Kajol sparkled in this simple , elegant pastel salwar. The dress fit her like glove and she seems well toned. Her  simple, classic  style  made jaws drop ..!

KIRAN RAO

HB : Looks like it’s going to be a mommy issue this May as here we have Aamir Khan’s wife director Kiran Rao in our A-list too. Known more for her sense of script than her style (she’s had quite a number of bashings in that department), Kiran has pulled off traditional to the T. The jewellery is drop dead stunning and complements the pastel shades of the saree beautifully.

Sumi Says : Kiran looks stunning in this pista color silk sari , We like her-simplistic, oftentimes naive look…! The sari paired with the green necklace add beauty to the whole ensemble .

MALAIKA ARORA

HB : And strike three for the mommy brigade. Looking like spring herself, Malaika manages to carry off this little outfit with pizazz. The yellow jacket and the bright blue oversized tote complete the effect. Love the shoes too.

Sumi Says : Malaika looks ravishing and fresh in this floral print play suit. The jacketadds flash of colour to make a contrast.   She looks chic flaunting  her long toned legs and those erotic shoes ..!

WORST DRESSED

Ria Sen

HB : Was Ria Sen supposed to be some sort of item number at Bappi Lahiri’s son’s wedding? It’s the only plausible explanation for this hideously cabaret-inspired outfit she decided to wear to the occasion. Or perhaps she just wanted to ‘blend’ in (and we mean into the maroon curtains of the hall where the reception was held).

Sumi Says : The silhouette is unattractive.The salwar looks like a long maxi dress with no waistline detailing. The colour /contrast is  boring ..! Her petite frame looks drowned in this outfit..!

Shibani

HB : Watch out Ria, you’ve got competition in this outfit Shibani decided to wear to Bappi’s son’s sangeet. While Shibani has decided to bare it all in terms of her dress, she’s gone in the other direction in terms of her make-up, where she can certainly lose a few layers.

Sumi Says : Shibani  looks awful and overdressed in this historic drama costume ..! She seems to have lost  track of both – ‘ Time and Style’.

Sameera Reddy

HB : We know the sun is out Sameera, you don’t have to rub it in. While yellow is a lovely spring colour, this one seems to have tipped over from eye-catching to eyesore. A little less sunshine please.

Sumi Says : Too flashy for the eyes and underwhelming..! Sameera the “all yellow ” number with hot red contrast is little too much and isn’t working for you…! Trying nude tones isn’t a bad idea..!
